Hi we have a Bailey Virginia caravan. The roof fan is touch control but the switch unit no longer works. Can these be replaced or does it mean a whole new fan.. Many thanks Mark
The touch controls can be replaced. The control with the on/off button and to determine the direction of flow is our part 140867.

Replacement Faulty Control Unit

As always with this company, Excellent Service and delivery. Easy to replace, make sure you take pictures of the wiring prior to strip down. You could see that the unit has been upgraded from the original unit installed in Swift 550 2010. Works well, will have to see whether the problems experienced with flashing lights has been sorted, so far all ok. Time will tell?? It's a bit of an overkill for a simple switch for in/out ventilation, shame someone has not come up with a cheaper replacement.

Arrived very quickly. No instructions for fitting, but obvious . Remove four screws retraining fan shroud, remove the lower shroud (and clean, it will be "sticky"! First, remove the ceiling fan fuse from the fuse box. The control unit is released by deflecting two obvious prong catches (small screwdriver). Note polarity of motor connection before disconnecting red and black wires. Power supply wires disappear over edge of mounting; suggest do NOT try to remove whole unit, cut the old wires close to the old unit. Similarly, cut he wires from the new unit, but leaving long tails (so could be refitted with "spades" later if ever removing unit). Join with conventional cable connectors. Check all is correct by replacing fuse and operating fan before installing new unit (remove fuse again whilst installing). Hope that helps, new unit works well, hope it lasts another seven years!

Great Service from Leisureshop Direct who went out of their way to confirm that they were supplying the latest version of this troublesome Omnivent electronic Control Unit for my 2012 Swift. Earlier versions are notoriously fault prone. Replacement was straightforward - undo some screws to gain access, clean plastic covers etc. screw back into place. Job done.
