Quality tap from Comet, as described, arrived in good condition, lightweight, fairly easy to fit with decent well sealed push fit connections, no leaks so far, smooth action, works well. Only needed to crimp on spade connectors for my wiring.
It would have been very helpful in the product description if they had mentioned (1) the maximum thickness of the worktop (20mm IMHO) (2) that the push fit connectors were for 10mm dia pipe and were approx 250mm long (3) the hex size of the plastic clamping nut. (I've forgotten already!)

Needed new tap for our Motorhome as previous one leaking and poor design of connecting pipes. This one is superior to the old one. Works well and looks ok. Arrived well packed and in just a few days
Carry A Spare If In The EU

My Hymer S700 had one of these taps when I bought it 5 years ago. I bought a new tap as a spare "just in case" The new tap had Push Fit connectors BUT had no push fit adapters. My tap failed two weeks ago so I needed to fit the spare. I ordered another tap so I would have a spare again, and the new tap came with adapters to connect to the braided hose Hymer use for water pipes.
The tap is very good and works well, but if you tour extensively in Europe as I do, carry a complete tap as a spare!! Nobody will have one in stock when you really need one!!
Tap Replacement On Burstner Caravan

Bought the tap as a replacement for the original fitting on which the microswitch had failed. I attempted to refix the switch but this was not possible and it failed again very quickly.
The Service from supplier was very good and Comet tap was an updated and improved version of the item already fitted. However the improvement resulted in the base being a larger diameter and the worksurface had to be bored out 6mm. This was done with a holesaw and took about 30 minutes.
The tap came complete with the adaptors for the 1/2" pvc red and blue pipes enabling the hoses fitted to the new tap to push directly on after shortening the pipes to suit. Altogether a much improved product over the original fitment.

This item is an ideal replacement for original equipement., and although delivery etc. was good I had to return it because I had ordered the wrong part.
The refund was handled without question and money returned overnight.
Good service throughout.
