Compact submersible pump POWER JET provides sufficient pressure in the caravan and motorhome.


The new, compact powerhouse from the submersible pump series from Empire provides sufficient water pressure, both in the caravan as well as in motorhomes, and is called: Power Jet.


The demands on the water supply in the caravan and motorhome have risen steadily in recent years. To include sufficient specific power, water pressure is now one of the key demands of everyday caravan and motorhome drivers. For this reason, Empire has expanded its range of compact, yet powerful submersible pumps. The youngest member of the family is called Power Jet and provides max. 25l/min and 2.1 bar. This guarantees that even with long cable distances or multiple open consumers at each point of use sufficient water quantity and water pressure are still present. Like all other high capacity submersible pumps of empire as well as the Power Jet grouted standard with an automatic air vent.

All good, works well, more powerful than other pumps I have tried. Operates the Truma pressure switch better than others. Time will tell how reliable it is.

This pump was to replace a Reich twin impeller type on a Hymer motorhome. I felt that old pump (also a replacement ) didn't have as much pressure as the original, although rated the same. The reason I say 'caution' ... this pump doesn't have a non return valve fitted and very quickly all the water in the pipes and hot tank ended up back in the cold water tank ! So if you fit this , check if you need to also fit an 'inline valve' as well. It also blew the supply fuse so that was upgraded.
