Product Description

Mains Electric Hook-Up UK . Enables a mains lead fitted with a site plug to be connected to a domestic 13amp outlet. This Mains Converter Lead easily converts a Caravan mains lead to make it compatible with a standard 13 amp domestic socket. Allows you to hook up your caravan 240 volt system at home, and is ideal for cooling down the fridge on mains before setting off, or even hoovering out your leisure vehicle.

This is absolutely fine, haven't been able to use it yet, but looks to be OK. The lead was shorter than I expected, but then I suppose it doesn't actually have to be very long, it's just that my old defunct one had about of a metre of cable.

Bought this so we can connect our motor home to our 240v supply at home. Great value for money, but could be improved by using a rubber plug instead of a brittle hard plastic one, especially as its predominantly used outside and often dropped. Most of these units are supplied with hard plastic plugs, so maybe I’m missing something.

This worked perfectly first time. It's about a foot long, so doesn't add much to your exiting cable and doesn't weigh much if you want to take it with you in the van - if you think you might need to stop somewhere without a traditional hook-up point for example.

I keep mine with the cable in the side locker just in case I need it.
