  Product Description
The Fiamma Coverglas is a premium external windscreen cover engineered specifically for Ford Transit H2/H3 models from 2014 onwards. This improved design features a modern light grey finish and provides superior protection for your vehicle's cabin against harsh sunlight and damaging UV rays throughout the year.

Constructed from double-layered durable material, this protective cover delivers exceptional insulation against both heat and cold. During summer months, the Coverglas reflects solar radiation to keep your cab significantly cooler, whilst in winter it provides an insulating barrier that helps prevent frost buildup on your windscreen. The tailored fit ensures complete coverage that follows the natural contours of your Ford Transit's cab area, eliminating gaps where heat or cold could penetrate.

Installation couldn't be simpler thanks to the integrated magnetic system. The Coverglas attaches quickly and securely without requiring additional fasteners, clips, or tools. At just 3.5kg, it's lightweight enough for one person to handle yet robust enough to withstand regular use. When you're ready to drive, simply remove and store it in the included carry bag. Whether you're a weekend camper or full-time motorhome user, the Fiamma Coverglas offers practical protection that extends the life of your vehicle's interior whilst enhancing your comfort.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Ford Transit models is the Fiamma Coverglas compatible with?
The Fiamma Coverglas is specifically designed for Ford Transit H2 and H3 cab heights manufactured from 2014 onwards. The custom-fit design follows the exact contours of these model variants to provide complete coverage of the windscreen and cab windows. If you have a different Transit model or year, check the specific product code to confirm compatibility before purchase.
How do the integrated magnets work to secure the Coverglas?
The Coverglas features magnets built into the cover that attach to the metallic body panels around your Transit's windscreen and doors. You simply position the cover over your cab area and the magnets grip automatically to the metal surfaces, holding it firmly in place without clips or straps. The magnetic system allows quick fitting in under a minute and removal is equally fast when you need to drive.
Does the Coverglas prevent condensation inside the cab?
Yes, the double-layered insulated material creates a barrier that significantly reduces condensation forming on your windscreen and cab windows overnight. External covers are more effective at preventing condensation than internal screens because they stop cold air directly contacting the glass. This eliminates the need to wipe down wet windows each morning and protects your dashboard from moisture damage.
Do I need to remove the Coverglas before driving?
Yes, you must remove the Coverglas completely before driving as it covers your windscreen and side windows. External covers are designed for when your vehicle is parked and cannot be left on whilst driving for safety and legal reasons. The lightweight 3.5kg design and magnetic attachment make removal quick, typically taking less than a minute before you set off.
What is the difference between H2 and H3 Ford Transit cabs?
H2 and H3 refer to the roof height classifications of Ford Transit vans, with H2 being medium-high roof and H3 being high roof variants. The Fiamma Coverglas is designed to fit both heights from 2014 onwards because the cab and windscreen dimensions are identical between these models. The main difference is the cargo area height behind the cab, which doesn't affect the Coverglas fitment.
How effective is the Coverglas at keeping the cab cool in summer?
The light grey reflective material and double-layer construction block direct sunlight and UV rays from penetrating your cab, reducing internal temperatures by up to 20 degrees compared to an unprotected vehicle. This keeps your dashboard, seats and steering wheel cooler to touch and prevents sun damage to plastics and upholstery. The improved light grey colour in the latest model provides better heat reflection than darker covers.
