Good service, and it works like it should!
New Shape But Old Design

I'm surprised these get such glowing reviews as they're no improvement on the earlier 'squarish' design, and have the same flaw in the weakness of the mechanism.
Both this and the smaller design employ a nylon actuator that governs the 'click' action. This actuator is an oblong platform with two arms of nylon acting as springs. Over time it's these arms that snap at the base and cause the lock to become difficult to operate.
Sadly, this new-shape still employs the same piece and will fail in the same way. It's guaranteed built-in obsolescence.
I wouldn't be so annoyed if you could buy spare nylon pieces, but you have no choice but buy the whole lock (without the the matching spacers that my AutoSleeper Clubman has, and should be included at this price).
So in order to retain the original lock-shape, I have to dismantle these new ones and swap the piece across. This is easy, but means you end up with a lot of plastic for recycling.
In fairness, the new shape does have an internally reinforced area in the lock action that should take some strain off the actuator, but at this price it should be redesigned.
Three Stars is generous for a product that in my case provides nothing more than 10p worth of plastic horror.
I had assumed these items were produced by Hafele, but there's no actual indication on the LSD webpage. It is my understanding the Hafele is a reputable company, but these items are typical of mass produced far-eastern tat.

Standalone Lock Not Suitable For Pushlock System

The product was not exactly what I expected as it does not fit into the push lock 'system' (i.e. two bar with upper and lower door 'grabs' running into a central pushlock), even though I found it through that 'system' page. It is a stand alone locking mechanism. As it is, it looks good and i am sure will work fine for some other door around the 'home'.
