I bought these in the hope that they would be more effective than the ones I had from another well known maker. The latter proved as much use as a chocolate teapot when called into action, as they were too thick, too narrow, and too short. Whilst I have not used these mats, and would rather hope I never need to, I can see that they are the opposite of thick, narrow and short, and will have a much better chance of doing the job due to the much wider spread on the ground.

Have now used them an bought a 2nd set, they were very good, quickly got off some mud. Thought with a second set it would make it easier to get out, hadn't realised how poor a motorhome would be on wet grass.
Much more substantial than I expected, haven't used them yet, but I think they will be an essential extra for our new motorhome. Having found someone stuck in a remote place and towed them off I know these will bring peace of mind
