Though it works well the wheel is loose on its axle, the shaft goes rusty and the inner tube seems to perish quickly. Inner tubes are cheap to buy on line and easy to change.

I purchased this as i have to spin my caravan on a slight slope on drive made of chippings. Factory Jockey wheel used to dig into chippings but this one rolls over the top . Fills easy with air. Should have got one ages ago. Top product .

Really pleased with this jockey wheel, good value for money. Found it tricky to connect an air compressor, but the valve is flexible.

Bought for a twin axle 10' x 5' trailer which killed me every time I had to hitch up on my stony yard. With no rear windows in my van, i often get within a few inches of where my hitch needed to be & those inches were hard work dragging my trailer across. This improved matters hugely over the solid jockey wheel it came with. It took five mins to fit & my only disappointment is that it's a bit mean on the length/height. Were it 4" longer than lifting the front axle of my trailer off the ground ( making manouverability even easier) would be possible. Hence only getting 4* However my yard is a diabolical collection of pot holes ( for now) so my problem s probably much worse than most peoples. Pic is before fitting this pneumatic one

Well made and rugged with something like a galvanised coating on the shaft. Needed some oil on first use but otherwise a very good product for the price.

Great to have a new jockey wheel with air in the tyre, moves so easily on wet soggy ground and we have plenty of that this year. Never mind we were ready for it.

Needed to replace my trailer jockey wheel, which had been damaged, so did not need the clamp. Perhaps I did not wind it up enough, due to various distractions, so it made contact with the road and was flicked about, wore through the tyre and broke the wheel.
Have also ordered a replacement plastic wheel as a standby in case this happens again, but this was the quickest dependable way to replace the jockey wheel.
It arrived in two days, from RRD Automotive, so the trailer is now back in service.
Have previously tried a solid wheel, so as to avoid having to inflate it, but even on crushed granite (which binds much better to give a firmer surface than gravel), it still dug in, but the pneumatic wheel rolls over the surface much better.

The only let down for me, is the bolted rim construction, they should have used lock-nuts or a welded rim. I've had bolted rims collapse during use before (and they weren't over loaded, the nuts come undone due to vibration), so check the nuts before & during use. Mine came pumped up, but not fully, I still needed to add 10+ lbs of air into it before it was fully inflated for use. Don't attempt to use it if it's not fully inflated, it doesn't work.

Solid job. Much easier to move my caravan now. Winds up and down ok and stores in up position clear of road. Well packaged. Just hope I don't get a puncture, probably should get a spare wheel!

although the product is okay, whoever wrote the product description needs to stop being lazy using cut & paste.
the description in one section says no clamp, but in the written description it does say supplied with clamp. this has obviously been pasted from another product without being amended. So be aware this does not come with a clamp

I bought this to replace a solid wheel on my caravan and it was well worth the money and must be half the price of local suppliers, if you have a motor mover fitted it is worth changing to a pneumatic tyre
