As the Avtex 279TS-F is connected to WIFI, updates will happen automatically. When Avtex make improvements to the software, you will automatically get an update. Also, as Avtex add more apps to their connected range (Amazon Prime / Youtube etc) you will automatically receive these in the next update.
Worried you’ll miss your favourite shows?
Freeview Play gives you 95% of the nation’s favourite TV, all for free. If you miss a programme you can scroll through the EPG (electronic programme guide) and choose the show from up to 7 days in the past. Once you have chosen the programme and you click on it, you will be brought to the correct player (BBC iPlayer or ITV Hub for example) where you can watch it. Please note to view the EPG you will only need a normal aerial but to watch the programme you will need a WIFI connection.
It will also allow you to scroll 7 days into the future for and set reminders or see what programmes are going to be available.
AVTEX QUICK TUNING SYSTEM (AQT)
You can simply hold down the AQT (Avtex Quick Tuning) button on the remote control for 3 seconds in either analogue or digital TV mode and it will automatically tune itself in! Also this set has MHEG5, with this all the channels are saved in the correct order! This feature is ideal for tourers, what could be simpler?

You can power this Avtex 27" caravan smart TV by 12V, 24V or 240V mains AC.
