I screwed the drain plug into the drainplug hole in my Carver Water Heater as soon as I removed it from the packaging. I bought it to replace the drain plug that I snapped through overtightening. I love this product because of its simple but functional design, the sensible yet inspired use of nylon and rubber and the clever slot in the top to allow it to be twisted in with a screwdriver. There is nothing I do not love about this drain plug and I cannot see any way that it could be improved upon.

This fitted my 1995 Carver heater drain. The original plug had snapped off and had to be drilled out. The new plug fits perfectly, the water has stopped bubbling and the pump works again.
