Purchased this because the temperature sensor in my caravan controller was faulty. Was advised by a caravan fitter to purchase a remote sensor.
He could not believe how good it was for the price and it was easy to fit as well.

Bought a remote temperature sensor to replace the function of the inbuilt sensor in the Alde control panel which was no longer providing an accurate reading. Sited the remote sensor behind the lift up table in the caravan and now the hating is working properly again.

Purchased Alde discrete temperature sensor, as heating in caravan decided to show heating was at 70 and unable to over ride setting. Although no instructions come with product, you can see a lot on YouTube that people have posted. Very pleased with the final fitting with the use of watching videos.

My caravan’s heating thermostat was always saying it was hotter than it was, fitting the discreet thermostat in the living space gave us a true reading and brings the heating on at the correct temperature.

The original temperature sensor is behind the panel which gives a false high reading. I bought this sensor and on the advice of another caravaner and fitted it. It’s made a big difference and the control panel now reads 4 to 5 degrees lower which is about right. A good product.

Great product allows the user to use the heating more effectively. Put my sensor in the bedroom area and find it more controllable than on the controls. Shame the caravan manufacturer hadn’t done it to start with.

The heating in our Bailey Cadiz turns off when you use the kettle because the existing thermostat is part of the Alde control panel, which Bailey thought by the kitchen work top was a good place for it. The Alde Temp sensor is discrete and very simple to fit, it also overrides the existing thermostat, so now we can have a brew without the heating turning off. Docking 1 star as the instructions aren't that informative but there are loads of utube videos.

The temperature sensor in the Alde control panel took far too long to register changes in internal temperature. Consequently, the caravan became too hot and then too cold. I mounted the discrete sensor in the main living area and it maintains a stabilised and comfortable room temperature.

This is a useful addition to the Alde 3020 heating system, as the standard temperature sensor is located in the control panel, and was being affected by this location and reading consistently too high.Use of the temperature offset function still didn't result in consistent operation, but this remote sensor located low down in the van seems to have done the trick. However, I would advise getting one with a longer lead if possible, as 2M does not give an awful lot of scope for positioning.
