This annex provides extra sleeping space or storage for your caravan holidays. It measures 210cm wide by 145cm deep and fits the Penta, Universal 420/360, Adria Action 361/391, Ventura Marlin and Ventura Freestander Cumulus models. The annex requires poles which must be purchased separately - you can choose between the CarbonX fibreglass frame with Isafix locking clamp or the Zinox tubular steel frame with T-Rex locking clamp to suit your needs.

The CarbonX fibreglass frame option weighs 12.79kg when combined with the 7.49kg annex fabric, giving a total of around 20kg. The Zinox tubular steel frame weighs 17.49kg with poles, totalling approximately 25kg complete. CarbonX offers lighter weight for easier pitching, while Zinox provides greater structural strength for extended trips or exposed locations. Both frame types are sold separately from the annex itself.

The materials are built to handle British weather. The roof uses IsaRoof 285 g/m2 polyester textile with three-layer breathable acrylic coating for UV resistance, while the base is tough PVC at 380 g/m2. The annex fabric weighs 7.49kg on its own, keeping the core unit manageable when you're packing for your trip.

This annex works well when friends or family join your holiday and need their own sleeping area separate from the main awning. It also serves as dedicated storage for bikes, outdoor equipment or wet weather gear. The breathable side material prevents condensation build-up, keeping your stored items dry throughout your trip. Remember to order your preferred frame system separately to complete the setup.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which caravan awning models does this annex fit?
This annex is compatible with the Penta, Universal 420/360, Universal 360, Adria Action 361, Adria Action 391, Ventura Marlin and Ventura Freestander Cumulus awning models. The 210cm width and 145cm depth dimensions are designed to zip onto the side panels of these specific awnings, creating an enclosed additional room for sleeping or storage purposes.
Are poles included with this annex?
No, poles are not included and must be purchased separately. You need to buy either the CarbonX fibreglass frame with Isafix locking clamp or the Zinox tubular steel frame with T-Rex locking clamp as a separate item. The annex fabric alone weighs 7.49kg, while adding the CarbonX frame brings the total weight to 12.79kg or 17.49kg with the Zinox steel frame option.
What's the difference between CarbonX and Zinox frame options?
The CarbonX option uses fibreglass poles with an Isafix locking clamp system, weighing 12.79kg when packaged with the frame components. The Zinox alternative features tubular steel poles with a T-Rex locking clamp, weighing 17.49kg complete. Fibreglass offers lighter weight for easier handling and transport, while steel provides greater structural strength and wind resistance for longer camping periods or exposed locations. Both frame types must be ordered separately from the annex fabric.
What material is the annex roof made from?
The roof uses IsaRoof fabric weighing 285 g/m2, which is an ultra-durable UV-resistant polyester textile. It receives treatment with three layers of breathable acrylic coating, allowing moisture vapour to escape while blocking rain and UV radiation. This same breathable IsaRoof material is used for the side and tent panels, preventing condensation inside the annex during overnight use or when storing equipment.
What is the base material and why does it differ from the roof?
The base uses PVC material at 380 g/m2, which is heavier and more waterproof than the roof fabric. This PVC groundsheet provides complete water resistance against ground moisture, puddles and rain splash-back. The heavier weight rating means it resists punctures from stones or rough ground better than breathable fabrics. Using non-breathable PVC on the floor while keeping breathable IsaRoof on walls and ceiling prevents ground dampness entering while allowing internal humidity to escape upwards.
