The Outdoor Revolution Cayman Annexe is a lightweight sleeping and stowage annexe for campervan owners who use a Cayman Air or Cayman DT driveaway awning. It zips onto the side of the primary awning to offer two people an individual 2 berth bedroom, a changing area or additional storage space, without using up room in the awning itself.

Tensile Active ripstop polyester with a 3,000mm hydrostatic head keeps rain out, and a Dura-Tech fibreglass poled frame holds the shape. A Phoenix mesh ventilation panel on the side lets air circulate while an external roll-up cover shuts it off in poor weather. Hi-vis guylines with fast adjusters make pitching simple, and the supplied 2 berth sleeping inner tent clips in for overnight use.

The annexe covers a 200 x 220cm footprint and stands about 180cm high inside, offering enough headroom to move around comfortably. It weighs 4.9kg and packs away to 72 x 23 x 17cm, so it takes up little room in the van. Two people put it up in about 5 minutes.

Hydrostatic Head3000The Hydrostatic Head of a fabric indicates how well it can keep water out and how waterproof it is. The higher the number, the better! An awning needs at least a 1000mmHH for light showers. Heavy rain and driving wind will put more pressure on the fabric and therefore requires a higher HH of at least 2000mm HH.
