How do you backwash the BOXIO water filter to clean it?
Backwashing the BOXIO water filter reverses the flow of clean water back through the UF membrane to flush out accumulated particles and restore flow rate. This is done periodically during use, particularly when the filtration speed slows noticeably. Full backwashing instructions are included in the assembly instructions supplied with the unit and available as a download from BOXIO.
