The Vango Stellar Junior Sleeping Bag gives younger campers a properly sized sleeping bag that's designed around their smaller frames. Instead of drowning in an adult-sized bag where cold air pockets form around unused space, kids get a snug fit that keeps warmth exactly where it needs to be. The double-layer construction uses ThermoLock Pro insulation, which means two separate layers of fill work together to trap body heat. This isn't a cheap single-layer bag with thin spots - the horizontal stitching keeps the Grade A insulation evenly distributed across the entire bag, so there's no cold patches developing where filling has shifted to one side after a few camping trips.

The Polair fabric feels genuinely soft against skin, which matters when you're trying to settle a child down for sleep in an unfamiliar tent. Both the outer shell and inner lining use this 190T brushed polyester, and it's machine washable - a practical feature when you're dealing with muddy campsite adventures and inevitable spills.
