Product Description

The Vango PopTop 5cm Sleeping Mat epitomises comfort combined with convenience for campervan enthusiasts. The construction of this mat is tailored for ease, with a focus on the unique demands of campervan spaces. Utilising the robust and durable 75 Denier polyester fabric with a peach brushed finish, it provides a soft touch and adds to the overall comfort level, ensuring that users can unwind in a relaxing environment after a day of adventure. The twist valve of the Vango PopTop 5cm Sleeping Mat is innovatively designed for swift and easy inflation, ensuring that setting up your sleeping area is as relaxed as your night's sleep.

Equipped with 5cm insulating foam, the Vango PopTop 5cm Sleeping Mat is not only plush but also provides substantial insulation, thus facilitating a warm and soothing sleep experience. This feature is particularly beneficial, considering the often unpredictable UK weather, guaranteeing that you remain comfortable during colder nights outdoors. The mat's fabric is also conducive to a restful night by being warm to the touch, which is an essential quality for any sleeping accessory meant to provide respite in the great outdoors.

The 3D construction technique used in the Vango PopTop 5cm Sleeping Mat allows for a flat sleeping surface, avoiding the common tapering effect found in many outdoor mats. This design enables campervanners to utilise the entire mat surface and avoid feeling cramped, which is especially useful in the compact living quarters of a campervan. Additionally, the inclusion of a carry bag with compression straps and handles reflects Vango's understanding of the need for mobility and ease of transport, making it an essential item for those who seek the tranquility of nature without having to transport heavy and bulky kit. This Vango PopTop 5cm Sleeping Mat's thoughtful features showcase Vango's commitment to providing quality and functional camping equipment for those who want to enjoy the outdoors.

Good And Comfy

Only downside was the toggle retention ring coming off but not a problem as it remains screwed in.

Great - As Exepected

by Dave (17 Aug 2021)

There are some bad reviews of this but I'm not sure what people's expectations are! Seems good to me. It needed a while to sort itself out after un-boxing but is now a great addition to our campervan. Our 11 year old is now way comfier in the roof than on the supplied thin sponge mattress, meaning a longer lie in in the mornings!

Poptop Mattress

Super speedy delivery, perfect fit for the poptop. Not slept on it yet but tested it and it inflates as it should.

Perfect Fit VW T6 Pop Top Roof

by Mr Thomas (04 Jun 2021)

(5/5)

This Vango California mattress is an excellent product. I bought it for my VW T6 campervan and the only downside was it took a few weeks to arrive. I suppose that’s testament to the quality and fact that everyone with a camper wants one. My children (7 & 5yr olds) slept very comfortably on it. Fits perfectly in our VW T6 pop top roof and is thin enough whilst inflated for the roof to be closed which saves space and time when moving on. Deflates and rolls up into a small bundle for storage when not using.
Really good product. Would recommend!

Excellent Customer Service

by Gareth Jones (01 Mar 2021)

I cannot fault this online retailer. The speed at which they operate is phenomenal. I made my order late one evening and within an hour, DPD was on the case and it was delivered the next day. Sadly, I ordered in error and needed to return it; one email, quick response, picked up by DPD the same day as the reply email from my home! I did loose a £10 because of the return postage but if this is the sort of service you receive as a result, then you get what you pay for. I was that impressed, I've subsequently ordered another item off them that I know I won't need to return. Finally, all of this and they were pretty much the cheapest on price online!

Does The Job It Was Designed To Do

by Lizzypop01 (11 Nov 2019)

(4/5)

Excellent service, arrived next day (one day earlier than advised). Good fit for the pop top on the T5 and it can stay in place when roof is down. 7 year old slept on it and said it was very, very comfortable but she weighs next to nothing so I will update when 100kg has tested it! Don't expect too much when you first unpack; give it a gentle shake and leave as long as possible with the valves open in a warm room to inflate. Even then it didn't look as inflated and crease free as the sample picture :)

Perfect Size

by Caravaner (10 Jul 2019)

(4/5)

Perfect size for pop top or rock n roll bed, can be left in roof if deflated, wish they did a thicker size

Great For Pop Top In The Campervan

by Elaine Willis (18 Jun 2019)

(5/5)

Great for the pop top of the Campervan. If fully inflated it is too deep to close roof with it in but very quick and easy to deflate and re-inflate
