  Product Description
The Outdoor Revolution Lumi-Mosi Killer Lantern is a 2-in-1 rechargeable lantern for campers who require bright light and insect control in one unit. Three LED brightness modes - 150, 70 and 30 lumens - cover everything from full ceiling brightness to a soft night light, and a pop-out UV mosquito zapper made into the top section attracts and kills insects.

The amber mosquito-safe LED mode helps to keep bugs away while the light remains on, and the UV zapper runs independently for a maximum of 30 hours on a full charge. The 2000mAh battery charges in around 4 hours via USB, and the fold-out hanger lets you hang the lantern from a tent ridge, awning frame or caravan hook. It measures 9.8 x 9.8 x 13.8cm and weighs 0.39kg.

How effective is the Lumi-Mosi Killer Lantern against insects?

The Lumi-Mosi Killer Lantern uses a pop-out UV zapper to attract and kill mosquitoes, running for a maximum of 30 hours on a single charge. An amber LED mode offers light without attracting bugs, so you get both protection and a warm glow at the same time. It is CE, ROHS and UKCA certified.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the Lumi-Mosi Killer Lantern battery last?
On the lighting side, it runs for 3 hours at full brightness, 6 hours at 50% and 8 hours on flash mode. The UV mosquito killer runs for up to 30 hours on its own. Charging takes about 4 hours through the USB port.
What does the amber mode do on the Lumi-Mosi Killer Lantern?
The amber LED mode gives you a warm light without attracting mosquitoes or midges. It's designed for evenings when you want to keep the lantern on without drawing insects into your tent or awning.
Is the Lumi-Mosi Killer Lantern suitable for UK camping?
Yes. The UV zapper handles mosquitoes and the amber mode deters midges, both of which are common at UK campsites during summer. It also works well abroad where mosquitoes are more of a problem.
How do you hang the Lumi-Mosi Killer Lantern?
A fold-out hanger lets you suspend it from a tent ridge pole, awning frame or caravan hook. It also sits on a flat surface for tabletop use when hanging isn't practical.
