The Vango Stellar Single Sleeping Bag brings proper warmth and comfort to your camping trips, whether you're pitching up at a festival, spending weekends at a campsite, or heading out on a multi-day trek. It uses Grade A insulation fill combined with double layer construction, which means two separate layers of fill work together to trap warm air and keep the cold out. The ThermoLock insulation keeps performing even when damp, something you'll appreciate during British camping trips where morning dew and unexpected drizzle are part of the experience. It's independently tested to EN ISO 23537-1:2022 standards, so the temperature ratings you see are accurate and reliable.

The shell uses Vango's Polair 190T polyester fabric, a hardwearing material that stands up to regular use and comes out of the washing machine ready for your next adventure. Inside, the brushed polyester microfibre lining feels soft against your skin and adds to the overall warmth. The shaped hood with drawcord adjustment helps lock in heat around your head and neck, where you lose warmth fastest during cold nights. An insulated zip baffle runs along the length of the zipper to stop cold air sneaking through, while the auto-lock two-way zip prevents the bag from unzipping itself when you're asleep. The zip guard stops fabric getting caught, making it easier to get in and out without wrestling with stuck zippers in the dark.

This single-sized bag gives one person plenty of room to move around without feeling restricted. Horizontal stitching keeps the insulation distributed evenly throughout the bag rather than bunching up in places. It packs down into the included stuffsack with drawcord, though like most sleeping bags with decent insulation, it won't compress quite as small as a lightweight summer bag. The hanging loops let you air it out properly between trips, which extends its lifespan and keeps it fresh. At around 1.5kg to 2kg (typical for this type of bag), it's manageable for car camping, caravan trips, or shorter walks where weight isn't your main concern.
