Dometic Cool-Ice iceboxes, such as the Dometic Cool-Ice WCI 13, are perfect for any occasion where there is no power readily available. They will keep your ice frozen for days – up to ten days, depending on model usage and conditions. These robust iceboxes are ideal for continuous exposure to weather, especially on boats. The thick, refrigeration grade foam insulation and 'Labyrinth Seal Design' feature contribute to longer lasting ice. Its rotomoulded design means there's no seams where heat can get in or cold can escape! Cool-Ice iceboxes are also extremely strong, durable and easy to clean. This smaller model of icebox comes with a convenient carry strap for easy transport.

Reliable cooling for days without any energy supply required? The new Cool-Ice series from Dometic makes it possible. The sturdy portable coolers with the extra-strong insulation layer have been tested and proven in the Australian heat and keep things nicely fresh inside in remote areas without power supply. Simply put freezer packs or ice cubes into the box to keep food and drinks at the ideal temperature for days. The purpose-designed insulation, combined with the seamless, UV-resistant polyethylene cabinet, ensures excellent heat protection values. Moreover, Cool-Ice boxes are especially easy to clean, hygienic and lightweight to carry.

The Dometic Cool-Ice series comprises a total of seven model versions with capacities ranging from 13 to 110 litres. The two handy compact coolers, WCI-13 and WCI-22, feature practical carrier straps. The next larger models are fitted with sturdy, ergonomic handles, which can be folded 180 degrees to allow convenient transport by one or two persons. The recessed areas for the handles also integrate fastening points which can be used to tie the boxes down for safe and secure transport. Smooth curves and fully integrated hinges make the coolers easy to stow.

A definite highlight about the new coolers is the so called labyrinth seal in the lid. This highly efficient, food-proof sealing effectively keeps the warm air out. The recess in the lid combined with the bulge in the wall of the box gives a particularly tight seal. All of these features make Dometic Cool-Ice coolers a ‘must have’ on board and for all outdoor activities.

Food quality gasket recessed into a channel in the lid. When the lid is closed the adjacent groove in the lid combined with the raised tongue on the box collar creates a highly efficient labyrinth seal against external ambient hot air.

I bought this for my camper van;i already have a iceytek 25litre cool box so the 13l dometic was needed for a weekend away.I put a 2litre bottle of ice inside and it was still icecold after 4days!The unit is strong,compact and does what it says .I recommend this for camping as it is very neat with an easy close system which is better than my icey tek.If only it had a drain plug like its larger family!very pleased even strong enough to sit on.
