Dometic Cool-Ice iceboxes, such as the Dometic Cool-Ice CI 55, are the perfect cooling solution for when power is not readily available. It will keep your ice frozen for days – up to ten days, depending on model usage and conditions. Features including a thick, refrigeration grade foam insulation and the 'Labyrinth Seal Design' combine to achieve longer lasting ice. Also, thanks to its rotomoulded design, there are no seams where heat can enter or cold can escape! Cool-Ice iceboxes are extremely strong, durable and easy to clean. Their robust design makes them ideal for continuous exposure to weather, especially on boats. The CI 55 icebox comes with strong ergonomic polyethylene handles that helpfully double as tie down points for securing the icebox.

This Dometic CI-55, 55 litre passive coolbox / icebox from Waeco is ideal for caravanning, festivals, fishing, camping and anywhere else without an electric hook-up. It can keep ice up to 10 days due to it's seamless designs and refridgeration grade foam insulation.

A definite highlight about the new coolers is the so called labyrinth seal in the lid. This highly efficient, food-proof sealing effectively keeps the warm air out. The recess in the lid combined with the bulge in the wall of the box gives a particularly tight seal. All of these features make Dometic Cool-Ice coolers a ‘must have’ on board and for all outdoor activities.

Food quality gasket recessed into a channel in the lid. When the lid is closed the adjacent dike in the lid combined with the raised tongue on the box collar creates a highly efficient labyrinth seal against external ambient hot air.
