This mesh panel set from Dometic provides an effective solution for keeping insects out of your Rally or Grande Air 390 awning whilst maintaining excellent airflow. The two-panel set simply zips into place on awnings from 2018 onwards, which come fitted with the additional zip system needed for installation. You get full-height mesh panels that replace the standard front panels when you need maximum ventilation on warm days and evenings.

The fine mesh construction blocks mosquitoes, midges, flies and wasps whilst permitting continuous airflow and natural light through your awning space. The panels weigh 6.12kg total and compress down to 62 x 27 x 2cm in the included carry bag. You can zip them directly over your existing solid panels using the dual-zip system, or remove the solid panels entirely for maximum ventilation and a more open feel.

The panels work brilliantly for families with young children or pets who need to keep the awning entrance controlled without shutting everyone inside on hot days. The mesh creates a secure barrier that stops little ones or dogs from wandering out whilst keeping the space feeling airy and open rather than enclosed. Pre-2018 Rally Air awnings lack the additional zip system required for installation and won't accept these panels.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will these mesh panels fit my older Rally Air Pro awning from 2016 or 2017?
No, these mesh panels only fit Rally Air Pro and Grande Air 390 awnings manufactured from 2018 onwards. The 2018+ models have a second zip fitted to the front panels specifically for these mesh panels. Earlier Rally Air awnings from 2016-2017 don't have this additional zip system, so the mesh panels cannot be retrofitted to those models.
Do the mesh panels replace the solid awning panels or fit alongside them?
The mesh panels zip onto a second zip position on your awning's front panels using the dual-zip system. You have the option to leave your original solid panel in place and zip the mesh over the top for a layered setup, or you can remove the solid panel entirely and fit just the mesh panel for maximum airflow. This flexibility lets you adjust ventilation levels depending on weather conditions.
How many panels come in the set and which awning sections do they cover?
