The Olpro Wichenford Tent Extension is a poled extension for campers with an Olpro Wichenford or Martley tent who want extra stowage room on a longer stay, or a porch to keep shoes and wet clothes in. Olpro made it to fit its Wichenford 8.0 and Wichenford Breeze® tents, and lists the Martley too.
It fixes to either side of the tent with elastic and hook fastenings, so you pick the side the additional room goes on. Pitched, it produces a big porch stowage area, and it includes a groundsheet to peg down inside if you want one. Olpro has a video on YouTube showing how to pitch the Martley and Wichenford extension.
The fabric is OLTECH® REPRO 210T RPS, which Olpro makes from repurposed disposable plastic bottles, 8 of them in each square metre. It has a 5,000mm hydrostatic head with UV protection, which Olpro describes as holding a 5 metre column of water before any water gets through. Fibreglass poles hold it up and light guy lines peg it out. As a tent extension it is covered by Olpro's Product Lifetime Warranty when you register it with Olpro inside 30 days of buying.
Campers who want a room set apart from the tent, for a toilet, a shower or somewhere to change, pick Olpro's Fibre-glass Toilet Tent instead, an individual cubicle one person pitches in under five minutes. The Wichenford extension is for Wichenford and Martley owners on a longer stay who want more space joined to the tent, a big porch for shoes, wet clothes and spare kit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which tents does the Wichenford Tent Extension fit?
Olpro designed it for the Wichenford 8.0 and Wichenford Breeze tents and lists the Martley as well. It attaches to either side of the tent with elastic and hook fastenings.
Should I choose the Wichenford Tent Extension or the Fibreglass Toilet Tent?
Choose the extension to add a large porch storage area to a Wichenford or Martley tent, fastened on either side, with its own groundsheet. Olpro's Fibreglass Toilet Tent is a separate 120 x 120cm cubicle, 225cm tall, which works as a toilet room, changing room, shower shelter or drying space and weighs 2.1kg.
What is the Wichenford Tent Extension used for?
Olpro designed it as extra storage room for longer stays, or as a porch to keep shoes and wet clothing in. It creates a large porch storage area on whichever side of the tent you attach it.
How does the Wichenford Tent Extension attach to the tent?
With elastic and hook fastenings. It goes on either side of the tent, and Olpro has a video on YouTube showing how to pitch the Martley and Wichenford extension.
Does the Wichenford Tent Extension have a groundsheet?
Yes. It comes with a groundsheet, which you peg down inside the extension if you wish. The extension itself is OLTECH REPRO 210T RPS fabric on fibreglass poles.
Is the Wichenford Tent Extension waterproof?
The OLTECH REPRO 210T RPS fabric has a 5,000mm hydrostatic head with UV protection. Olpro explains the rating as the fabric holding a 5 metre column of water before any water gets through.
Does the Wichenford Tent Extension come with poles?
Yes. It is a poled design with its own fibreglass poles, and it comes with bright guy lines to peg it out and a groundsheet for inside.
What warranty does the Wichenford Tent Extension have?
Olpro marks the extension with a lifetime warranty.
