  Product Description
The Olpro Blakedown Breeze is a 4 man inflatable tent for families and groups of up to four who want a light living space by day and dark bedrooms at night. Nine windows, such as two tinted skylights in the living area roof, fill the tent with natural light and let you stargaze after dark, and extra large windows on each side keep the view.

The sleeping pods do the opposite job: they are made from darkened material for a proper night's sleep and a lie-in past sunrise. The tent is 600 x 280cm and stands 200 cm high with standing room, both doors have fly mesh screens, and a fully sewn-in groundsheet keeps bugs and draughts out. A big canopy covers the front, canopy poles come with it for the side door, and a mains lead entry point takes your hook-up lead.

Five inflatable air beams offer the structure its steadiness, with additional storm straps supplied for rough weather. Like each Olpro Breeze® tent, it uses air beams in place of conventional poles, with the bladders protected by a TPU casing, and Olpro puts the pitch at 25 minutes with the manual pump provided. The fabric is OLTECH® REPRO 150D, which Olpro makes mostly from recycled plastic bottles, with fully taped seams and a 5,000mm hydrostatic head. A repair kit, pegs, guy ropes and a carrying bag come with it, and the tent weighs 30kg packed. Olpro's Product Lifetime Warranty covers it when you register it with Olpro inside 30 days of buying.

Families who want an inflatable light enough for one person to carry pick the Abberley XL Breeze, a 4 berth Breeze® tent at 16.5kg, with a darkened bedroom which its divider splits in two. The Blakedown Breeze is for a family who want a bright place to sit by day and a lie-in in the morning, with tinted skylights in the roof for stargazing after dark and darkened sleeping pods to keep the early light out.

How much room and light does the Olpro Blakedown Breeze give a family of four?

The Blakedown Breeze is 600 x 280cm and stands 200cm high with standing room. Nine windows, such as two tinted skylights in the living area roof, bring in natural light, while darkened sleeping pods keep the bedrooms dark. It weighs 30kg and packs down to 90 x 50 x 50cm.

Frequently Asked Questions

How big is the Olpro Blakedown Breeze?
It measures 600cm long, 280cm wide and 200cm high, with standing room inside and darkened sleeping pods for four. The tent weighs 30kg and packs down to 90 x 50 x 50cm in its carry bag.
Should I choose the Blakedown Breeze or the Abberley XL Breeze?
Choose the Blakedown Breeze for nine windows with two tinted skylights, a 600 x 280cm footprint, 200cm of height and five air beams with extra storm straps, at 30kg. The Abberley XL Breeze weighs 16.5kg, light enough for one person to carry, and puts a darkened bedroom with a removable divider on a 490 x 310cm footprint, 185cm high.
How does the Blakedown Breeze air frame work?
It stands on five inflatable air beams instead of traditional poles, Olpro's Breeze system, with each bladder protected by a TPU casing. You inflate them with the manual pump included, and Olpro says its Breeze air beams take 7 or 8 pumps. Inflate each beam only to the pressure in Olpro's instructions.
How long does the Blakedown Breeze take to pitch?
Olpro puts it at 25 minutes. Five inflatable air beams form the frame, extra storm straps come with it for rough weather, and Olpro has a video on YouTube showing how to pitch it.
Is the Blakedown Breeze waterproof?
The OLTECH REPRO 150D flysheet has fully taped seams and a 5,000mm hydrostatic head, which Olpro explains as holding back the pressure of 5 metres of water before anything seeps through. A fully sewn-in groundsheet keeps bugs and draughts out.
Does the Blakedown Breeze have skylights?
Yes, two tinted skylights in the living area roof, part of nine windows in all. They fill the tent with daylight and let you stargaze at night, and the extra large windows on each side keep the view.
Does the Blakedown Breeze take an electric hook-up?
Yes, it has a mains lead entry point for a hook-up lead. Olpro sells the Blakedown Breeze to campers who use hook-up power and want a proper mains lead entry.
What warranty does the Blakedown Breeze have?
Olpro gives a Product Lifetime Warranty on qualifying new canvas products bought in 2024 or later, tents included. It covers genuine manufacturing faults over the product's reasonable expected life. If you buy it from a retailer, register it with Olpro within 30 days and keep your proof of purchase.

Features at a Glance
Hydrostatic Head (mm)5000The hydrostatic head of a fabric indicates how well it can keep water out and how waterproof it is. The higher the number, the better! A tent needs to have at least 1000mm HH for light showers, heavy rain and driving wind will put more pressure on the fabric and would therefore require a higher HH of 2000mm. Anything higher than this figure means it can keep out water being pushed through by someone leaning against it for example.
MaterialRecycled Plastic PolyesterMost tents are made from different denier polyester, which is a lightweight, very waterproof material. Polycotton is a heavier fabric, that breathes well allowing campers to stay cooler in sunnier climates. It is also very good at reducting condensation inside the tent.
Number of Bedrooms1This is the number of sectioned off bedrooms that are included in this tent. The standard industry allowance is 60cm per person, though larger or premium tents often provide more space.
Persons4Tent berth indicates how many people your tent can accommodate for sleeping. The industry standard allocates about 60cm of width per occupant, though exact dimensions can vary by manufacturer. If you prefer extra elbow room, you may want a tent berth larger than your headcount. Many campers size up by one or two berths to improve comfort on longer trips.
Pole constructionInflatable Air TubesThis is whether the poles are inflatable (air) or rigid (e.g - fibreglass / steel or aluminium).
Weight (kg)30This is the weight of the tent in kg.
