The Olpro Discovery is a big 6 man inflatable tent for families and groups of up to six . Its sleeping pods are made with a darkened material for a good night's sleep, with fly mesh on the bedrooms, and a fully sewn-in groundsheet in the living space keeps the bugs out.

At the front a big enclosed canopy includes its own loose groundsheet, and the front door is detachable. The two side doors have fly mesh screens for privacy and to stop insects getting in, and the right-hand side door has a protective side canopy. Extra large windows sit on each side, seven windows in all, and inside there are ventilation points, a lantern hook and interior stowage pockets.

Five inflatable beams offer the tent its steadiness, with additional storm straps provided. They're Olpro Breeze® strengthened TPU beams, used in place of conventional poles, and a spare beam comes in the bag. The fabric is OLTECH® REPRO 150D, made of repurposed disposable plastic bottles, with fully taped seams and a 5,000mm hydrostatic head, which Olpro rates for heavy rain. A manual pump, repair kit, carrying bag and bright coloured storm straps and guy lines are provided, and the tent weighs 30kg. How does the Discovery air frame work?
It stands on five inflatable beams instead of traditional poles, using Olpro's Breeze reinforced TPU beams, and a spare beam comes in the bag. You inflate them with the manual pump included, and Olpro says its Breeze air beams take 7 or 8 pumps. Inflate each beam only to the pressure in Olpro's instructions.
What is the enclosed canopy on the Discovery?
It's a large enclosed canopy at the front of the tent, with an extra loose groundsheet of its own. The front door is removable, and the right-hand side door has a protective side canopy too.
Is the Discovery waterproof?
The OLTECH REPRO 150D fabric has fully taped seams and a 5,000mm hydrostatic head, which Olpro rates as excellent protection for heavy rain. On Olpro's scale, 5,000mm holds back the pressure of 5 metres of water before anything seeps through.
How do you pack away the Discovery?
Olpro has videos on YouTube showing how to deflate a Breeze beam and how to pack an Olpro tent away. The Discovery goes back into its carry bag, and Olpro lists it at 30kg.
How many windows does the Discovery have?
Seven, with extra large windows on each side so you always have the view. It also has ventilation points, and fly mesh on the bedrooms and doors.
What warranty does the Discovery have?
Olpro marks the Discovery with a lifetime warranty. Its Product Lifetime Warranty covers genuine manufacturing faults on qualifying new canvas products bought in 2024 or later, tents included, over the product's reasonable expected life. If you buy it from a retailer, register it with Olpro within 30 days and keep your proof of purchase.

Hydrostatic Head (mm)5000The hydrostatic head of a fabric indicates how well it can keep water out and how waterproof it is. The higher the number, the better! A tent needs to have at least 1000mm HH for light showers, heavy rain and driving wind will put more pressure on the fabric and would therefore require a higher HH of 2000mm. Anything higher than this figure means it can keep out water being pushed through by someone leaning against it for example.
