What is Outwell's Rigid Air System?

The Rigid Air System Outwell offers features individual tubes that are inflated and deflated separately via easy access external valves. They are positioned at a certain height on the flysheet, making sure you don't have to bend over uncormfortably during pitch-up. If you are unlucky enough to damage one of the air tubes, becuase they are all separate the others stay inflated, still keeping you and your loved ones dry. The Outwell Moonhill 5 Air Tent has pre-shaped air beams, which help to provide great headroom and interior space.

A very clever patented design, the Outwell Quick and Quiet Inner doors are made with magnetic strips sewn into the vertical seam of the inner doors, which enables you to very quickly and quietly gain entry and exit to the bedrooms, so that you won't wake anyone up with noisy zips! If you are wanting the extra security, there are also zips to give a more secure closure.

The Moonhill 5 Tent is made from Outwell's Outtex 4000 Select fabric, which has a light weight of 64gr/m2, making it conventietly light to transport and store. It is made from high frequency thread, in an interlacing weave, creating great strength. This high-strength thread is made from a high-performimg polyester and cotton mix which has a sealing effect to water, making it very waterproof, with a boastable 4000mm Hydrostatic Head. It has a surface repellency factor due to the fabric being treated, which repels water and dirt for easy cleaning. The tent seams are sealed with a PU tape ensuring leak-free seams. At you would expect, all Outwell tent fabrics are fire retardant, with a UPF of 30+, which is a high sun UV protection. The Moonhill 5 Air Tent has a durable, waterproof sewn-in ground sheet, that keeps you and your loved ones protected from unwanted draughts.
