The Outwell Avondale 5PA Air Family Tent is a 5-man Air tent which offers the sleeping areas in two dark Premier Bedrooms with Panorama outlook and mesh ventilation for added sleep comfort. The Outwell Avondale 5PA Air Tent is ideal for families and friends looking for flexible space and practical convenience. The Premier bedrooms will offer you the floor space and easy access that you need. The storage pockets provided are an added bonus that will help you keep all your essentials to hand and there are also main cable entry points to bring in the power needed in the bedrooms for electrics, lights etc.

A deep canopy with large side windows over the fully opening front offers outdoor shelter, a great place for the children to take off their wet shoes or store their toys. To make life easier there is an additional side door for flexible access and providing extra ventilation in those warmer summer nights. The Outwell Avondale 5PA Air Tent has cleverly pre-shaped air tubes that give the inside a great headroom and interior space…plenty of height for even the tallest of campers! The windows of the Outwell Avondale 5-man Air Tent has Toggle-up Curtains and has placed conveniently located fixings at each window, letting in as much, or as little daylight as required so you can enjoy watching campsite life pass you by or create the privacy wanted.

Outwell has excelled with the Outtex® 4000 Select, a hard-wearing, quality, 100% polyester that addresses key expectations for fabrics ideal for camping trips. It is fire retardant and has a PU-coating that provides a 4,000mm hydrostatic head waterproof rating. The material meets all the latest regulations. There is extra protection across all seams and the taped seams ensures no chance of any water getting in. If really stormy and windy while you are camping Outwell’s Avondale uses a Wind Brace System with supportive webbing in key positions along an air tube to make sure you and your family have enhanced stability in adverse weather conditions.

The Outwell Avondale Air Family tent benefits from a Rigid Air System which features individual tubes that are inflated and deflated separately via easy access external valves, keeping your tent secure and also allowing for easy pitching and take down. Hanging StorageYes A flexible hanging system which allows you to easily attach lighting or storage in your tent living area. Items of up to 1.5Kg can be conveniently hung along this beading rail, usually by a hook system.
Hydrostatic Head (mm)4000The hydrostatic head of a fabric indicates how well it can keep water out and how waterproof it is. The higher the number, the better! A tent needs to have at least 1000mm HH for light showers, heavy rain and driving wind will put more pressure on the fabric and would therefore require a higher HH of 2000mm. Anything higher than this figure means it can keep out water being pushed through by someone leaning against it for example.
MaterialPolyesterMost tents are made from different denier polyester, which is a lightweight, very waterproof material. Polycotton is a heavier fabric, that breathes well allowing campers to stay cooler in sunnier climates. It is also very good at reducting condensation inside the tent.
