  Product Description
The Outwell Birdland 4 TC is a 4 man polycotton tent for families who want two individual bedrooms and a shared living space in one set-up. TC stands for Technical Cotton, Outwell’s name for polycotton. The Outtex® AirTech fabric (65% polyester, 35% cotton) produces a more comfy climate inside as conditions change through the day.

Two Dark Premier Bedrooms sit either side of the middle living area, with mesh ventilation for airflow during sleep. The front canopy extends the covered space and rolls back when the weather is fine, with roll-back side protection for versatility. The waterproof sewn-in groundsheet keeps the floor dry, and the light, warm-toned flysheet roof brings a bright, cheerful feel to the interior. Double zips on the front door open to a full mesh panel for ventilation without bugs.

The PowerTec fibreglass pole system uses square segments for sturdiness and steadiness in wind, and the tent pitches flysheet-first or as one unit. The built-in Outwell Light System runs from a USB-C power source (minimum 10W, not supplied) and lights the tent from above. Mesh stowage pockets in the inner tents keep smaller items to hand. Outwell covers all its products with a two-year limited guarantee against manufacturing defects.

Bigger families who require a sixth sleeping room and a more separated layout look at the Outwell Edmonds 6 TC, which brings a built-in awning and a third zone separating wet equipment from the living space. It weighs 42.3kg. The Birdland 4 TC fits a family of four who want polycotton comfort with two bedrooms and a living area, at a more portable 26.3kg.

What layout does the Outwell Birdland 4 TC have?

The Birdland 4 TC is a three-room tunnel tent with two Dark Premier Bedrooms and a central living space. A built-in front canopy adds covered outdoor room, and the sewn-in groundsheet keeps the floor dry. It fits into 2 bags: the flysheet at 78 x 39 x 32cm and the poles at 71 x 23 x 11cm.
