Question

1. I think we have a problem with our Gas Regulator part number TRuma 0129411. I see from other queries a problem with residues blocking the regulator is a regular problem. We have tried two different gas bottles we know have gas in, and no gas is getting through to appliances, hence we think the regulator. Does this seem correct. 2. Buying a new one - we cannot find this part number on the TRuma web-site or yours. Are the new replacements all with an elbow? 3. Should one fit a filter as well?

Answer

The replacement regulator is either part 127224 for 8mm diameter outlet piping or 127225 for 10mm diameter outlet piping. These are complete with an elbow at the inlet.
A filter is a good idea but expensive. It will prevent further failures of the regulator.
