Can I add an in-line water pump to a manual pump system? I don’t have an on board water tank, it will need to draw the water from an external water carrier via the original pipe work. If yes, would I put the electric pump before or after the manual foot pump?

Yes, you can put an electric pump in line with a manual pump and it would be situated after the manual pump. It will need to be primed to work and you will have to rely on the non return valve in the manual pump to prevent the water leaking back towards the tank when the pump is switched off. You can install a separate non-return valve if this is a problem. In-line pump 128454 should be suitable.
