Whale GP1392 In Line Booster 12v Water Pump Hi-Flow 12v for campervan, caravan, motorhome, boat & leisure vehicle applications. This replaces Whale 991 pump.

- Ideal solution for simple & cost effective water pump replacement or fitting of water systems.

- Low noise & power consumption.
- This model has 12l flow/min using 2.8 amps @0 m & 9.8l flow using 2.7 amps @ 1 m.

Self venting design eliminates air locking. In line pumps are designed to fit with existing hand or foot pumps and can be used to boost pressure in manual or electric pump systems.

The body of this pump is 9cm in length.

Can I add an in-line water pump to a manual pump system? I don’t have an on board water tank, it will need to draw the water from an external water carrier via the original pipe work. If yes, would I put the electric pump before or after the manual foot pump?
Yes, you can put an electric pump in line with a manual pump and it would be situated after the manual pump. It will need to be primed to work and you will have to rely on the non return valve in the manual pump to prevent the water leaking back towards the tank when the pump is switched off. You can install a separate non-return valve if this is a problem. In-line pump 128454 should be suitable.

Direct replacement, just make sure you use plumbers tape around the ends to stop any leaks, superb
