Friend has an Avondale caravan, think they ceased trading in 2009. Top cover of roof light blown off probably due to age. Leisureshopdirect gave me the part number for replacement which was ordered and delivered in 2 days. Fitting was very easy, all done from inside the caravan and completed in less than 1/2 hour.
Only had to remove inside frame to check size and 4 screws securing the handles onto the frame

This replaced our existing dome. It was compatible with the screws etc. The locking mechanism needed a little mod to get it to line up perfectly. I think this is due to our vent housing being very old! Definatly recommend this item and selller

This MPK Rooflight Dome with handles was needed after a tree broke our old one. It arrived well packaged in quick time, was a bit puzzled as to how we were to assemble the sprung handles, but after a bit of head scratching we did. Was very easy to replace by undoing the screws that held the handles and offering the new one from the outside. Took all of 2 minutes to fit.

Ideal replacement for cracked rooflight on a 20 year old autosleeper trident. Initialy was sent the wrong size but this was very quickly and efficiently resolved. Had to trim a couple of mm off the latches on the handles to get it to latch closed properly, otherwise would be 5*.

For a couple of years the handles on my roof light domes have been cracked and I was recommended these replacements through my owners club. This summer the handles broke and I also noticed water seeping through the double skins of the domes so needed to sort the problem pronto! I took measurements from the internal frame corner screw holes (380mm) and confirmed by email the size required. They were awaiting stock but I received them well packaged in a couple of weeks. I fitted them both today with no problems at all and I'm delighted with the purchase.

Rooflight dome needed replacement as original 20 yr old one was going brittle and had begun to rattle.
The one we thought we were ordering had beige handles as in the photo, however the one that arrived had white handles. Fitted it anyway as it's not an item that is continually looked at, in fact I didn't even notice at first as it was fitted while I was out.

The dome arrived in a flimsy cardboard box with no protection or bubble wrap inside whatsoever. Miraculously the courier had not crushed it. The moulding is good, the handles are attached to the dome, but the locking mech is supplied loose. There are two sets of locking handles in black and dark grey. You have to remove your old locking handle to release the springs to fit into your new one. Compare your old handles carefully with the shape of the new ones - you have have to cut about 2mm off the top edge with a fine hacksaw to lock and clear your frame, depending on its age. The unit fits well in the old roof moulding and locks up and down positively. I was pleasantly suprised to find a replacement part for a 19 year old roof light, and that it does fit.

The rooflight arrived well packaged and promptly, it was easy to fit on my 25yr old van, though there's obviously been a slight change to the design in the years as it doesn't latch to lock shut properly. Need to make a few alterations but should be possible. Excellent service from leisureshopdirect, would be happy to use them again

It fit a standard 40cm by 40cm opening just right. Easy to install - only need a crosstip screwdriver. I had to get a ladder to place it on the outside, but the screws mounted from the inside.

Nice and simple replacement rooflight. The handles had cracked on ours plus looked a bit grubby so swapped it out. The only you need to watch on a older fit net is there are 4 lugs that protrude straight up from where the latches go. These need to be removed so the rooflight can go down fully. Simple enough to run a junior hacksaw through them.

The damaged rooflight unscrews from the inside, and comes off the roof through the vent opening (diagonally!). The new MPK Rooflight dome goes on just as easily. No ladder required.
The only problem I had was that the black locking lugs were a slightly different shape to the old ones (on a 1999 Bailey), but trimming them to size with a stanley knife was easy to do.

After my clear dome disappeared in a storm, I e-mailed for help and gave the dimensions of the hole.... this dome is half the price of the clear version and fits,Complete with handles is a 4 screw 10 minute replacement. Great advice, great delivery.....many thanks leisureshop!!!!

Caravan parts fail on a regular basis due to their low cost poor design. In particular, plastic parts become brittle due to aging and the effect of UV. I was able to easily remove the broken roof light easily and the replacement fitted perfectly.

Purchased for my 1995 Avondale Perle Orion - looked very big when I unpacked it but proved to be an exact fit. Very easy to install - just 4 screws to take out the old leaky one and install the new one. The instructions indicated the need for a Torx screwdriver but this was not necessary - just needed a regular cross-headed driver. Excellent delivery - paid for next day and received before 8.30am the next morning.

Bought two of these over the last two months. They are for my 15 year old campervan. First one went then the other. Both fitted well except the new locking handles were slightly different. It was either file the new ones or fit the old.
Decided to fit the old with new springs. Be careful if you do this as old plastic is very brittle.
Delivery was excellent both times. Carrier for the first one and Parcel Force for the second.

As my van is 15 years old, the latest handle locks needed to be modified as the current design does not match the older frame that is fixed to the van, but it is better than having to remove the old one that is set in the roof.
