3 Options become 1 Solution. We combined the features of our articles 5234, 5328 and 5248 into one. The new cap for the water tank has the article number 251 and carries the name: HEOSwater connector® universal The as-delivered condition of the tank cap makes it suitable for all current filler plugs with bayonet lock(Ø 77 mm) The scope of delivery of the new HEOSwater connector® universal contains 2 additional components. It allows you to use the cap for tanks with smaller filler plugs e.g. Dethleffs, LMC, TEC constructed from 2010 onwards (Ø 67 mm) or for other suppliers using the same plug, as well as for all water tanks with or without overflow.
With the enclosed flat rubber seal the HEOSwater connector® universal is only applicable for water tanks with overflow. Changing the seal through the additional ring makes the HEOSwater connector® universal suited for filler plugs with smaller diameter (cap +/- 67 mm).
The flexible seal surface of the cap avoids any overpressure in the water tank. Just the slightest overpressure opens the HEOSwater connector® universal automatically and the air/ water escapes through the filler plugs.

I saw this in Motorhome Monthly and I think it is really handy meaning you plug it in at both ends and can get on with other jobs like emptying the loo rather than standing there like a lemon. Instructions fairly clear with different inserts depending on whether tank has an overflow or not. Would have given five stars but seemed a tad expensive for what it is but glad I bought it.

Purchased for our motor home it allows you to fill up with a hose without having to stand and hold it whilst filling.Also it means you can reach the tap to turn off the water without having to leave the hose gushing water whilst you run to the tap!

Quite pleased with this, handy little gadget that basically just holds the hose for you when filling up your fresh water tank. Note that it does NOT cut off the water flow when full however! To take best advantage of this filler cap, ensure that your hose coupling is one of the 'stop' type so that when the tank fills up you just need to disconnect the hose and no water will be flying about trying to soak you!

The Heos water filler is a very useful aid when filling the on-board water tank. It fits easily and saves having to hold the filler pipe during the long process of filling the tank. Highly recommend.

Great product! Don't know why these aren't suppied as standard to all caravans and motorhomes. Comes with various adaptions to ensure the water filler is well vented - important to get this right otherwise the tank may burst under the water pressure.
