1 FAQ on the Microswitch for Reich Twist//TWISTER/LINNEA TAPS taps

I have a Reich mixer twist mixer tap, believe microswitch to be faulty as not operating pump. Can I replace microswitch in this tap, I have removed handle, and can see a square possibly nut, but not sure how to proceed from here. Do the wires pull out of the switch or do. Have to connect these to the existing wires by cutting. Are there any instructions on the net re this. Thanks

You will need to dismantle the tap to install a new microswitch so you need to undo the nut that you have found inside. It does not matter which way around you connect the two wires from the switch to the caravan wiring. The replacement microswitch should be our ref. 128117.

Leisureshopdirect were excellent with replacing the product. The Reich tap is a poor design. The 2 thin wires will eventually break again as they are twisted & bent by the lever action of the tap.

The old microswitch in our kitchen tap had been butchered by a previous owner. The new one slotted straight in, and after threading the wires through the tap body, works perfectly.

The micro switch for my high pillar tap was exactly as described, worked perfectly and was easy to install. Delivery took 5 days. Postage for such a small object was excessive but a new tap would have cost me €150.00. Overall a great service.
