Clesana Power-Management incl. cable puts the relay and DC DC charger for a Clesana C1 in one small box. Hook it up with a backup battery and the C1 draws power through the control input only while it runs. In standby the unit feeds the backup battery with a 2 A charge. A 12 V permanent live on the control wire starts and stops it. Pre assembled cables keep the install simple and tidy. Standby draw sits at 3 mA, so your battery stays fresh on site or in storage. Input range sits between 10.5 and 14.8 V, so it suits typical leisure systems. If the on board battery fails, the C1 still runs off the backup battery. It suits 12 V leisure setups only, so stick to that spec. The control logic stays simple, with clear in and out labels. Mount it close to the backup battery to keep cable runs short. You avoid extra relays and a separate charger box, so space use stays low in tight lockers. The result is a tidy install that behaves predictably on every trip. Good fit for self builders and workshop techs who fit the C1 in campervans, motorhomes and caravans. Suits users who value simple service and clear fault finding. Wiring is straightforward with positive and negative runs easy to trace.

Setup is plain. Mount the unit near the backup battery, connect the pre assembled leads to the C1, then add the 12 V continuous plus to the control input. The relay side manages current flow to the toilet during use. The DC DC charger looks after the backup battery during standby with a steady 2 A. Max current draw is 2.2 A during operation. The nominal system voltage is 12 V, and it works across 10.5 to 14.8 V. Standby draw is 3 mA. That is low enough for long parking without shore power. The idea suits weekend vans, family tourers and long term travellers who want fuss free backup for the C1 without a tangle of parts. You end up with fewer connections, fewer failure points, and a tidy wiring run. Fitters will like the predictable behaviour. Owners will like the simple control with a single permanent live trigger. Charging at 2 A is modest and predictable. The input range of 10.5 to 14.8 V matches alternator output and common leisure chargers. The unit draws only when asked to work, so parasitic loss stays low. Use proper fusing on supply lines and good quality crimps on terminations. Leave batteries in ventilated space and follow the C1 manual for cable sizes and routing. Simple steps, fewer surprises on the road.

Simple electrical installation and even greater self-sufficiency! The Clesana Power Management combines the functions of a relay and a DC/DC charger. When combined with a backup battery, the Clesana C1 with the Clesana Power Management can be installed quickly and easily thanks to the pre-assembled cables. The control input enables the flow of current from the backup battery when the Clesana C1 is in use. When the Clesana C1 is in standby mode, the backup battery is charged with a 2A charging current via the Clesana Power Management. Control is easily achieved via a 12V permanent positive cable. Even if the on-board battery fails, the Clesana C1 can still be operated via the backup battery.
