Old Bellows on the Porta Potti had rotted despite nil use (in 20yrs!). Useful to unwrap new bellows before attempting to remove old, to understand how it was "glued in" and use care to dislodge. Instructions essential and adequate.

The bellows pump came and I'd been searching the internet on how to fit, I needn't have bothered full and VERY clear instructions with photos were sent with the bellows so I was very happy. Thetford is a quality firm and the professional back up like this means a very good experience.

Easy part to replace once you realise it has to be pushed in far enough to engage the rim, otherwise the soft mastic sealant causes it to pop out again!

Followed the instruction leaflet on replacement ok But could not get the new bellows to pop down into the recess then i noticed the grey putty it comes with had gone semi hard thus making it near impossible to push the new unit in
if i had continued i would have damaged the new bellows
I removed the grey putty ..VERY carefully and used silicone sealant all around the now clean bellows recess and case opening and down it popped fairly easily i left it overnight and it works fine no leaks

The Porta Potti bellows are just what it says, bellows to flush your porta potti. Mine needed replacing because of a split in the bellows, after several years of use I may add. The new one came and was installed within 15 mins of opening the packet, easy to read instructions and simple to fit.

I have had my porta potti for about 20 years and needed replacement bellows, found this site and ordered the bellows. Arrived when they said they would, easy to fit there are instructions enclosed. I would use this site again and would recommend to everyone

Firstly i would like to say what a great fast delivery this was.I was shocked to get this within 30 hours of ordering.We bought a secondhand porta potti cheap only to find out that this item the bellows had perished when in storage with previous owners.Great news is it took less than 10 mins to remove old one and clean area replace with this new one which has all the instructions enclosed and added extra instructions for later use.Has its own sealant so no problem getting a tight seal.Absolutely brill.

Delivery was quick. The old bellow had disintegrated. The old adhesive was a little tricky to begin with but once the old bellows had been removed and the item had easy instructions and it was straight forward to replace.

after putting up with leaking bellows for so long it is great to have the new ones installed. made the change during the cold snap when the porta potti was frozen - word of advise...it is much easier when things are defrosted/at room temperature. works brilliantly now.

after a speedy delivery i got my dad to put into porta potti, altogether it took him about 10 minutes to fix and that was taking the old bellows out first, very pleased with product, instructions easy to understand but managed without.
would definately recommend this this product.

It's a lot better than flushing with a galvanized bucket...
The old one is hard to get out as it's stuck in with non setting sealer/glue stuff. (new one has the sealer pre applied on it) Would probably be easier to get it out if it wasn't so cold in here and the sealer was warmer/softer. You need to be careful not to damage the flush pipe once you get the old bellows out as it's a tight fit to get the bellows out with the flush pipe and valve attached.
New one goes in easily enough.
