Quick Delivery Of An Essential Part

Part failed when we were in Italy. Luckily we carry a spare cassette. Whilst replacing the part I found I could fix the old one, so this one now travels as a spare

This is so easy to fit. Worth extra money rather than relacing just the seal.

Thetford Holding Tank Mechanism

The part arrived promptly and was easy to fit, although did have to use a flat metal strip as a lever to start removing the old unit rather than using the shutter as suggested in the instructions. The whole job took less than 15 minutes
Thetford C400 Replacementnholding Tank Plate
<span style='color:gray;'>by Ian (18 Aug 2019)</span>

I had to replace the holding plate on my motorhome loo. I purchased this new replacement unit & it was very easy to fit. It came with clear instruction for fitting the included float bits before installation but other than that.. great.

This is a genuine part so as expected it was perfectly OK. One word of warning - the brand new seals are a very tight fit and I needed liberal quantities of silicone grease to fit to the holding tank.

ordered this at 10pm on Thurs and it was delivered 10am on Saturday.
great replacement part for our cassette toilet but initially confused as to the left/right description
.... after a bit of disearching i found out this is to with which side the cassette comes out of the toilet. To work it out, imagine sitting on your loo if the cassette comes out on the left this needs a left hand & the right is right hand

A quickly and pretty easily installed replacement unit. It would have been useful to have a few notes on the procedure, including the use of a length of timber wedged between the slided to help unscrew the old assembly. Disposable gloves are recommended. You will need to remove the float from the old part and click it into the new one, though everything else is included. A liberal spray of silicone lubricant will help subsequent operation.
