  Product Description
Clesana PTFE band sits over the welding wire on your Clesana toilet and stops hot polymer sticking to the welding jaws during each seal. It gives a clean, reliable weld on the bag every time, so you keep odours contained and the unit running smoothly. After around 1,750 welds the non stick effect starts to fade, so it’s time to swap both belts to keep results consistent. The swap is quick and you do it yourself with basic care. Suits caravan, motorhome and campervan users who want simple upkeep on trips without messing with chemicals. If you use your Clesana a lot, keeping a spare Clesana PTFE band set in the locker saves a trip when a belt wears out.

The PTFE bands (also known as Teflon) are placed over the welding wire and prevent the hot polymer from adhering to the welding jaws during the welding process.
The anti-stick effect of the Teflon begins to degrade after approximately 1,750 welds. To maintain the quality of the welds, both bands must be replaced. This can be easily done by yourself.
