The Fiamma Carry-Bike Frame offers a dedicated rear door bike carrier solution for van conversions, designed to fit Fiat Ducato, Citroen Jumper, Peugeot Boxer, Mercedes Sprinter, VW Crafter, and MAN TGE models through vehicle-specific installation kits. This system carries two bikes as standard with the option to expand to three bikes or two e-bikes when paired with additional Fiamma components. The aluminium construction keeps the weight down to 9.4kg whilst providing a 50kg maximum load capacity, and the stainless steel AISI 304 rail support base guarantees long-term durability in all weather conditions.

Can I carry e-bikes on the Fiamma Carry-Bike Frame?
Yes, the Carry-Bike Frame supports e-bikes with a maximum of two e-bikes at any one time. The system has a 50kg maximum load capacity, so the combined weight of your e-bikes must stay within this limit. E-bikes are generally heavier than standard bikes, which is why the maximum number is restricted to two when carrying electric bikes compared to three standard bikes.
How do I expand from 2 bikes to 3 bikes on the Carry-Bike Frame?
The Carry-Bike Frame comes as standard with components to carry two bikes. To expand to three bikes, you need to purchase additional Fiamma parts, specifically an extra Rail Plus and an additional Bike-Block Pro locking system. These components integrate with your existing setup to create the third bike position whilst maintaining the structural integrity and 50kg maximum load capacity of the carrier system.
Will the Carry-Bike Frame work with a 270-degree hinge system?
No, the Carry-Bike Frame is not suitable for vehicles equipped with a 270-degree hinge system on the rear doors. This applies specifically to the Kit Frame Ducato and Kit Frame Crafter models. The standard rear door hinge system is required for proper installation and operation. If your Ducato, Jumper, Boxer, Crafter, or TGE has 270-degree hinges, you'll need to consider an alternative bike carrier solution.
Do I need a licence plate carrier with the Fiamma Carry-Bike Frame?
A licence plate carrier is recommended but sold separately as an optional extra. When bikes are mounted on the rear of your van, they often obscure the original number plate, which makes you non-compliant with UK road traffic regulations. The Fiamma licence plate carrier includes integrated control lighting to keep your rear lights visible and positions your registration plate where it's legally required to be seen by other road users and traffic enforcement cameras.
