The Fiamma Carry-Bike Ford Custom Nugget / Nugget Plus (ref 02096-07A) is a tailgate-mounted bike carrier designed specifically for Ford Transit Custom Nugget and Nugget Plus campervans with raised roofs. This deep black rack attaches to the lower part of the tailgate using curved brackets that follow the vehicle's contours, so there's no drilling needed. It arrives ready to transport two standard bikes or two e-bikes, with Bike-Block Pro 1 and Pro 3 locking systems included. The aluminium rail support base keeps the weight down to 8.4kg while maintaining a 50kg maximum load capacity.

Which Ford Transit Custom campervans work with the Fiamma Carry-Bike?


This bike carrier fits Ford Transit Custom Nugget models from 2015 onwards and Nugget Plus versions from 2012. It's also compatible with Ford Cap Land (2015+), Cap Fan (2015-2018), Cap Coast (2018+), and Cap Life (2019+) with H1 high roof. The vehicle must have a single tailgate rather than double doors.

The Rail Plus system gives you 15cm spacing between rails, with vertical and horizontal wheelbases of 80cm and 68cm to accommodate different bike frame sizes. You'll get a security strip and all necessary brackets in the box. The tailgate opens freely when the rack is mounted but bikes need to be removed first. For a third bike, you'll need to add a Bike-Block Pro 2 and an extra Rail Plus (sold separately). The curved bottom fixing bar provides strong adhesion to the tailgate, while the upper brackets follow the vehicle's shape for a secure fit. A licence plate carrier with lighting is available as an optional extra.
