At Last, A Proper Grown Up Fridge/freezer

I bought this to replace a Dometic RMD 8505 which failed on me. The Thetford T2160 is the same size as the 8505 so a perfect replacement. It’s also cheaper than any Dometic.I love the eye level fridge which has a good light in the right place - at last I can see what’s in the fridge without being on my hands and knees. The freezer drawer is brilliant. I can open it without everything falling out and it keeps things frozen. The T2160 uses about 45Ah a day. On EHU no problem. Off grid you need plenty of battery (I have 200Ah lithium) and solar (I have 240W).
