Removed VP1 amplifies originally fitted, (remove screw above unit and pull up) refit with the two screws provided, use same power supply and jobs done. If replacing internal lights with LED avoid nearest to Amplifier as will interfere with signal

I puchesed this to replace a faulty old STATUS unit on my sons newly purchased caravan. I found this product easy to install and it worked staight off, no messing about. Very pleased, as was my son.

Fitted to replace amp without led . Worked immediately . Tuned tv went to signal strength and could not improve on tv position so VP5 had nailed it. Anyone want to buy the old model?

I simply wanted the convenience of a signal strength meter without the hassle of an in- line unit. Also the option to couple up a radio instead of the external telescopic twig. This meets the spec on all fronts. Indicates well, simple replacement although slightly longer than the original Swift fitted VP unit. Happily recommend this item and with very short delivery, all is well

I had an omni type aerial before and didn’t get any signal, for example in Braemar, where we like to go for a weekend break now and again.<br />I fitted this one, really straight forward to fit and tested it at home before we left, worked fine.<br /><br />Now the real test was Braemar. Arrived, set it up, didn’t get a green light but more of a light orange.<br />Tuned in the TV and lo and behold we got channels. Not a lot mind you but enough to be able to watch usually the main channels, BBC1, STV, etc.<br /><br />The following day I had to reset the aerial and retune, weather was poor though, raining quite a bit, maybe something to do with that?!?!<br />Anyway, it does work, enough channels for us as we don’t sit in the motorhome all day as we like to get out.<br />Please I purchased it put it that way 👍🏼

Good built in digital signal finder, was dubious at first but actually works very well. Play around with the gain so you start with a bad signal and turn aerial and if no change just turn the gain up a bit. When you get lined up, turn the gain up as far as you can without getting any quality degradation due to amplified interference.

i have a vision status 530 fitted to my caravan it had a vp1 booster fitted i have always a problem with tv signal outside the house so i have replaced it with the vp5 the signal is now 1000% better compared to the old one its crisp & clear so i look forward to my 1st outing in May & the areas that i am going to have signal issues

Excellent product and does exactly as it says on the box in our new caravan . . Very easy to replace the existing VP3 as screw holes and cable fittings are in exactly the same place . . It is so easy to use to obtain a good signal before switching on the TV . . Brilliant . .
