  Product Description
The CBE PC380 Control Panel Wildax gives you comprehensive monitoring of your motorhome's electrical systems through a 4.8-inch 12-colour negative LCD screen. This microprocessor-controlled unit tracks both your vehicle and service batteries with accurate voltage readings displayed as numbers and graphics, whilst the digital clock keeps you on schedule. You'll monitor fresh water levels shown as percentages alongside visual indicators, receive grey water tank alerts before overflow becomes an issue, and check internal and external temperatures without stepping outside.

The integrated electronic battery separator handles split charging automatically, connecting your leisure battery to charge from the alternator when the engine runs and isolating them when stopped. This prevents your starter battery from draining whilst you're using lights, pumps, or other 12V equipment at camp. Ten 12V protection fuses safeguard your circuits, and the battery saver function cuts power at set voltages to protect your leisure battery from deep discharge damage. The panel manages 3-way fridge operation and monitors charging when you're connected to mains hookup.

Installation requires a cutout of 190x130mm, and this version works exclusively with UK vehicle configurations. The twilight sensor adjusts display brightness automatically as daylight fades, whilst you can manually control backlight levels through the settings menu. Software updates load via the USB port, keeping the system current without replacing hardware. Can I fit the PC380 in a vehicle with a smart alternator?

For vehicles with Euro 5 or Euro 6 smart alternators, the built-in split charging function needs disabling and you must fit a separate battery-to-battery DC-DC charger to charge your leisure battery effectively from the alternator. What does the battery saver function actually do?
The battery saver monitors your leisure battery voltage and automatically cuts power to connected circuits when voltage drops to a preset minimum level. This prevents deep discharge damage that shortens battery life. Lead-acid batteries particularly suffer when discharged below certain thresholds, so this function protects your investment by disconnecting loads before critical voltage is reached.
How do I update the software on the PC380 panel?
Software updates load through the USB port on the panel without needing to replace any hardware. You download the update file from CBE onto a USB drive, insert it into the panel port, and follow the on-screen instructions to install. This feature allows CBE to add improvements or fix bugs without requiring panel replacement, extending the useful life of the system.
Does the PC380 include water tank level sensors?
The panel displays fresh water tank levels as percentages with graphic indicators and provides grey water tank reserve alarms, but the actual tank sensors are not included with the control panel itself. You need to purchase fresh water level sensors separately if your vehicle does not already have them fitted. The panel connects to standard CBE tank sender units.
What size cutout do I need to fit the PC380 Wildax?
