  Product Description
The Clayton Power 5m Cable Set provides everything you need to wire your LPS II power supply for alternator charging and to install the 600W Super Charge DC-DC Converter between your vehicle battery and leisure battery system. This complete kit includes 16mm² power cables with pre-fitted 8mm ring terminals, three 60A mega fuses with holders, a 5-metre D+ ignition signal wire with fuse holder, and a 25mm² black ground cable - all the heavy-duty wiring required for a professional installation. The cables connect to the DC IN and C1 terminals at the back of your LPS II unit, with the 16mm² sizing meeting Clayton Power's specification for runs up to 5 metres without excessive voltage drop at 40A+ charge currents.

One thing that sets this apart from the standard alternator cable kit (AL2101) is the inclusion of extra cables specifically for routing through the Super Charge DC-DC converter, which sits between your vehicle's alternator circuit and the LPS II's DC output terminals. You're getting longer runs of 16mm² cable (including a 3.5m red positive and 4.1m lengths for both positive and negative), plus the beefier 25mm² ground cable that handles the bidirectional current flow when using jump-start mode. The kit arrives with all fuses, holders and terminals fitted, so you're not hunting for M6 or M8 crimps separately. Just remember you'll still need proper cable routing clips and possibly additional earth bonding straps depending on your vehicle's chassis configuration and where you're mounting the LPS II unit.
