The Mestic MIC-200 requires induction-compatible cookware made from ferrous metals. Pans labelled as induction-ready, cast iron cookware, and stainless steel pans with magnetic bases all work. To test if your existing pans are suitable, hold a magnet to the base. If it sticks firmly, the pan will work with induction. Aluminium, copper, and glass pans without a magnetic base will not activate the cooktop's auto detection system.
