It screws directly onto cartridges like the Coleman C500 and the Outdoor Revolution Isobutane Propane 450g, making it a practical choice for campers, caravanners, and motorhome users who want a lightweight gas setup without a refillable bottle. The twist-on/off design means there's no complicated attachment process, and the regulator delivers a nominal outlet pressure of 28-30 mbar with a maximum inlet pressure of 7.5 bar.

Which disposable gas cartridges does the IGT EN417 regulator fit?


The IGT gas regulator fits any disposable gas cartridge with a standard EN417-compliant thread, including the Coleman C500 and Outdoor Revolution Isobutane Propane 450g. It is not compatible with Campingaz CV470 cartridges or Campingaz 907/904 bottles, which use a different connection system.

Once connected, the ribbed nozzle accepts a rubber gas hose so you can run the supply directly to a camping stove or small gas appliance. It's a solid pick for festival camping, touring, or any setup where saving weight and space matters. The sealed on/off dial gives you controlled gas flow and a safe way to shut down between uses.

For anyone running a portable camping stove off a small cartridge, this regulator keeps the setup straightforward. It's EN16129 approved, which means it meets the relevant European safety standard for gas pressure regulators, and the 28-30 mbar outlet pressure is the standard low-pressure output used by the vast majority of camping stoves and portable appliances in the UK.
