Totally correct replacement. Please ensure you prepare the threads of the cast aluminium heater section prior to any attempt to fit. Should you fail to clean the threads there is a chance you could break the replacement part as you tighten it against the shoulders of the nut section. I used a liquid gasket product used by plumbers which acted as a lubricant and also ensured a seal where the aluminium threads had corroded.

This was perfect for the job. These plastic bits in my 20+ year old carver have all started to disintegrate and I was pleased to get bits that fitted. Delivery was prompt so I could get on with the job. The only down side was removing the old fittings.

Our heater is the Henry replacement for the Carver. Removing the leaking drain / valve and replacing it with the new one was NOT a quick process - it took a wheel wrench & a lot of force. However, the leak has stopped, so the pump does not keep running on. The £10 part saved the cost of a new heater.

I bought this bcz the old one was leaking at thread /washer. On trying to remove, the thread broke. so extraction was necessary. Old thread cleaned with suitable tap. New unit fitted perfectly and works 100%

Old item perished on caravan, this replacement looks to be an exact replica so there should be no problems on a straight swap over, which will be done next spring to save a winter on the caravan.
Great service from leisureshopdirect as I live in France and item arrived in a week.

Fast response good price. Be careful how you remove old unit as it may be very brittle and break leaving the threaded portion in the outlet. Difficult to remove without damaging thread!

Arrived in less than two day's. Well packed. Excellent service.
Careful when taking the old valve out as it will be quite brittle and will
probably snap off when you try to unscrew it.
I used a small thin chisel to get mine out.

Failure of this pressure relief-valve part on a 14 year old Carver heater causes external leaks - this is the third valve in the life of the caravan. The plastic thread often shears off and remains stuck in the housing, or the metal thread is often damaged during careless maintenance. So I bought two to have another spare - at this price that is an affordable strategy! Ordering and delivery was great, and the replacement was fitted easily once the old plastic thread was removed. Thanks to leisureshopdirect - great service!

The Cascade Water Heater Safety Valve arrived within three days . Excellent Service.
The old valve had broken off at the end of its thread which was still left in the heat exchanger . This was removed by heating the tang of a file and pushing it into the remains of the threaded portion left in the heat exchanger . After things had cooled the tang was reinserted and the broken portion screwed out . The thread in the heat exchanger still had some small remnants of the old valve attached which were removed using a small rotary drill and wire brush. The new valve then fitted perfectly. The outer cover was refitted without any problems . Presumably some covers ( perhaps for earler heaters?) need to be modified to fit .

Ordered this item arrived next day as promised. As a caravan enigineer i need parts asap and this company provide that service. The valve i had to replace had perished and needed replacing as my customer going on holiday the next day.
On old style cascade the cover outside might need some adjusting as the valve has been changed and is alittle longer the the old one. Or you can purchase the modified cover from this site. overall a+ for website and sales and part was spot on as described by the girls in the office.

Fast delivery. Fitted this product to the Carver Cascade 2 heater..(old one had snapped off)
Could not fit outside panel back onto caravan as this valve was too long, and stuck out far enough for the panel not to go back into place properly?
The panel is £50+ to replace, and did not want to start cutting panel at rear to give enough space so it would fit?
Not sure what to do now, as panel is temporarily screwed into position, but not flush, and is away from body of caravan by 1/2 inch.

Found out late pm when telephone contact with Leisureshop direct was impossible, but via Google, found out that they had a web address. Went to the address and found the part very easily. Price was reasonable and received prompt delivery and my motorhome was up and running again in no time.
