  Product Description
This Sterling single induction hob works well whether you're mounting it permanently or just want something portable that sits on your worktop. At 1500W maximum it's not going to overload most inverters, and the eight power settings from 200W up to full power mean you can cook gently without hammering your battery bank. The 260mm cooking zone handles most pan sizes you'd use in a van or caravan.

The intelligent functions and auto shutoff when there's no pan prevent accidents, whilst the overheat protection stops things getting damaged if ventilation's poor. At 288mm x 82mm it doesn't take up much space, and the PP housing should cope with the inevitable knocks. The variable power consumption is the real advantage here because you can simmer things on 200W instead of cycling a full power burner on and off, which makes much more sense when you're watching every amp from your batteries.
