Product Description

Propex Heating and Leisure are pleased to present the new mains powered hot water heater designed especially for the Caravan and Motorhome market and fully compliant with new ErP legislation.

The increase in quality and availability of site ‘hooks ups’ means the need to have multi fueled water heaters is no longer a necessity for a lot of campers. So, pull up, hook up and switch on to ensure lashings of hot water will always be available with this mains powered water storage heater without putting the rest of the site into darkness.

This is the replacement but smaller version of Propex Bubble 10 litre which no longer met the required standards.

Mounting feet enable easy installation . Supplied water hose connector’s gives options of 12mm push fit female fitting or adapter to 12mm barbed hose connector.

I have given it 5 stars on the basis of the compact size and ease of fitting. Went perfectly where I had planned in my camper conversion. I haven't actually used it yet as still building the kitchen for my van . The only niggle I have is the pipe supplied for the overflow in my opinion is not suitable as it very easily kinks and was impossible in my case to get through the flooring of my van to exit under vehicle . I replaced it with 8mm copper pipe

Far better than i expected. The wattage is such that i am able to run it off an appropriate inverter as well as mains with no problem. The l.e.d display is clear and the water is hot in just a few minutes and remains hot long after the thermostat has switched out. The Propex electric storage heater is highly recommended by me.

We bought this heater for our boat on the occasions we will be near an electric hook-up. We will be installing it shortly, so we have not been able to try it yet. Build quality appears excellent however and delivery was next day. It's a little larger than we anticipated (the dimensions were published), but it will be a much safer option than gas.
