The TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) lamination bonds directly to the stretch polyester fabric, which means the layers won't separate over time like cheaper glued mats can. This construction method also keeps the weight at 3.05kg for a 200 x 73cm sleeping area.

The top surface uses 30-denier stretch polyester that moves with you rather than creating that slippery feeling some mats have, whilst the 190T 75-denier bottom provides puncture resistance against rough tent groundsheets.
