  Product Description
The Fiamma Sun View Side is a translucent side panel designed to provide shade and privacy for awning users. Compatible with Fiamma F45, F65, F70, F80, Caravanstore and F35 Pro awnings, this panel blocks approximately 80% of sunlight while still allowing filtered natural light to pass through. It works standalone or alongside Sun View Front panels to create a more enclosed outdoor space. The panel is suitable for awnings fitted at heights between 180cm and 260cm from the ground, depending on the specific version.

This restyled panel features an attractive white and grey fixed band across the base, giving it a modern appearance. Made from durable translucent light-filtering material, it comes complete with an aluminium tension rafter, ropes and pegs as standard. Installation is straightforward, though F70, F65 and F80 models require an additional side adapter kit sold separately. The panel dimensions vary depending on your awning specification: 230cm wide for F45/F70/F65/F80 models, 210cm for Caravanstore/F35 Pro, and 240cm for Caravanstore XL.

The Sun View Side offers practical sun protection for caravan and motorhome owners who spend time outdoors. It's particularly useful during afternoon sun when the low angle makes shade from the awning alone insufficient. One thing to note is the adapter requirement for certain awning models, so you'll need to check compatibility before purchasing. See the below table reference in selecting the correct size for your setup.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Fiamma awning models is the Sun View Side compatible with?

The Fiamma Sun View Side is compatible with F45 S and L, F65 S and L, F70, F80, Caravanstore, Caravanstore XL and F35 Pro awnings. The F45 models work directly without adapters, while F70, F65 and F80 awnings require a separate Kit Side adapter for installation. Three different versions are available with panel widths of 230cm for F45/F70/F65/F80, 210cm for Caravanstore and F35 Pro, and 240cm for Caravanstore XL models.

What height does my awning need to be for the Sun View Side to fit?

The Fiamma Sun View Side fits awnings installed at different heights depending on the version. The F45/F70/F65/F80 version suits awnings fitted at 220-260cm from the ground to the lowest part of the awning box. The Caravanstore, F35 Pro and Caravanstore XL versions accommodate a wider range of 180-260cm from the ground. Height is measured from ground level to the lowest point of the awning box when closed.

How much sunlight does the Sun View Side block?

The Fiamma Sun View Side blocks approximately 80% of sunlight while allowing filtered natural light to pass through. Made from translucent light-filtering material, it provides shade and reduces glare whilst maintaining visibility and a bright atmosphere under the awning. This makes it ideal for creating a comfortable outdoor space during sunny conditions without complete darkness.

What is included with the Fiamma Sun View Side panel?

The Fiamma Sun View Side is delivered as standard with an aluminium tension rafter for structural support, ropes for securing the panel and pegs for anchoring it to the ground. The restyled panel features a white and grey fixed band across the base. Installation accessories are included, though F70, F65 and F80 awning owners will need to purchase a separate Kit Side adapter for compatibility.

Do I need an adapter kit for my Fiamma awning to fit the Sun View Side?

Adapter kits are required for F70, F65 and F80 awnings to install the Sun View Side panel. F45 S and F45 L models do not need an adapter and are directly compatible. Separate adapter kits are also available for Omnistor 5002, 5003, 4900, Tristor and Tristor 2 awnings. The Caravanstore and F35 Pro versions fit directly without adapters. Each adapter kit is model-specific, so check your awning type before ordering.

Can I use the Sun View Side panel with Sun View Front panels?

Yes, the Fiamma Sun View Side works both as a standalone side panel and in combination with Sun View Front panels. Using them together creates a more enclosed outdoor space with protection from sun and wind on multiple sides. This modular approach lets you configure your awning space based on weather conditions and your privacy requirements whilst maintaining natural light through the translucent material.
